The Smiths Falls & District Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Canadian and Ontario Chambers of Commerce, is entitled to offer our members the opportunity to participate in several different benefit programs. It is important for us to advertise each and every benefit available so that our members can decide for themselves which opportunities they would like to take advantage of. We feel it is important that every member is given an opportunity to choose. We encourage our members to support the local economy whenever possible.

Businesses that are members of the Chamber of Commerce have the opportunity to profile themselves in the local newspaper as part of their membership package.

Networking Session
Along with the opportunity to meet in a social setting, the members get the chance to find persons in similar businesses and trade business tips.

"Member to Member" Program
The Chamber welcomes "Member to Member" affinity programs and benefits that promote shopping locally. Each of our members are encouraged to offer a discount on goods or services to their fellow Chamber members as a way to promote shopping locally and as a means of supporting the Smiths Falls economy. Inclusion in the program is not an endorsement by the Chamber, but is simply a creative way to promote a healthy business community. Many Chamber of Commerce/Boards of Trade in Ontario have found it difficult to find Directors and Officers (D&O) Liability Insurance at a reasonable price, and sometimes coverage at any price has been unavailable.
